Mobileye raised the midpoint of its 2026 revenue outlook after third-quarter adjusted operating income increased even as quarterly sales edged lower. The autonomous-driving technology supplier said stronger-than-expected SuperVision deliveries and higher EyeQ volumes supported the updated forecast.
Mobileye margins improve despite lower revenue
Mobileye reported the results on October 29 for the quarter ended September 26. Revenue fell because average system pricing declined 5%, reflecting a larger mix of China OEM export volumes with less software content and lower SuperVision volumes, although higher EyeQ shipments partly offset those pressures.
The company’s official earnings release showed GAAP gross margin rising to 53% from 48%. Adjusted operating margin improved to 18% from 15%, while adjusted diluted earnings per share increased to $0.11 from $0.09.

Updated outlook reflects SuperVision deliveries
The revised full-year revenue range implies growth of 5% to 7%. Mobileye also projected adjusted operating income of $380 million–$420 million, compared with its previous $365 million–$425 million range.
Management said SuperVision deliveries exceeded expectations, but their lower gross margin and about $7 million of zero-margin memory-cost pass-through limited the conversion of incremental revenue into adjusted operating income. The company generated $303 million of operating cash during the first nine months and ended the period with $1.5 billion in cash, marketable securities and deposits.
AI driving programs remain the growth test
President and CEO Amnon Shashua said EyeQ shipment volume increased 11% during the first nine months while estimated global vehicle production declined 1%. New Surround ADAS and Cloud-Enhanced ADAS design wins may increase Mobileye’s content per vehicle as those programs enter production.
Investors will weigh that product progress against softer pricing and the slower commercialization path for robotaxis. The results also add context to recent AI infrastructure spending, AI storage demand and automotive semiconductor earnings.
