Mirae Asset Securities (HK) completed a tokenized notes issuance on Solana for eligible professional investors, extending a conventional structured product into public-blockchain distribution. The October 28 announcement said Marketnode acted as the authorized distributor while Mirae managed issuance, payments and lifecycle administration on its own infrastructure.

What Mirae issued on Solana

The notes represent short-term debt rather than a cryptocurrency or fund token. Mirae said investors can hold them in tokenized form on Solana while the company handles interest, redemption and other lifecycle functions through its proprietary digital infrastructure.

The structure builds on the same institutional-tokenization trend behind Hong Kong’s XGZ gold token expansion. It also differs from the payments use case in Visa Direct’s USDC prefunding rollout, because the Mirae instrument is a privately placed security.

Marketnode handles institutional distribution

Marketnode, a Singapore-regulated digital-market infrastructure operator, distributed the notes. The issuer’s October 28 release said the transaction could provide a repeatable model for offering more structured products through digital channels.

The restriction to professional investors is central to the deal. It keeps the issuance outside the retail market and shows that public blockchain rails can support regulated institutional products without changing the investor-eligibility rules governing the underlying security.

What investors should watch

Mirae did not publish the note’s issue size, benchmark rate, coupon, token standard or investor count. Those omissions limit any assessment of demand or pricing, so the clearest takeaway is operational: the company moved issuance and servicing onto its own tokenization stack while using a regulated distributor.

The deal adds another institutional blockchain project to a market that already includes bank-charter and custody developments such as Ripple’s national trust bank approval. Future disclosures on transaction volume, settlement performance and repeat issuance will show whether the model scales beyond a single private placement.
