Oracle Investor Day on October 28 will give investors a new look at the company’s cloud capacity, artificial intelligence contracts and capital spending. The meeting begins at 10:55 a.m. Central Time during Oracle AI World.
The event follows a first quarter in which demand expanded faster than available infrastructure. Management may use the presentation to explain how it plans to convert a $664 billion backlog into revenue without weakening cash generation.
Oracle Investor Day Centers on Cloud Capacity
Oracle announced the event on October 23, separating the new meeting date from its September earnings release. The webcast will be available through the company’s investor-relations site.
The central operating question is capacity. Oracle said it delivered 850 megawatts of additional data-center capacity during the first quarter and more than 300,000 GPUs to AI cloud customers. Capacity constraints also shape investor expectations across the broader AI stock market.
Oracle Investor Day Faces a $664B Backlog Test
Oracle’s September 10 results showed total revenue rising 30% to $19.3 billion. Cloud revenue increased 62% to $11.6 billion, including $7.4 billion from infrastructure services.
Remaining performance obligations rose to $664 billion after more than $30 billion of additional AI cloud contracts. Investors will look for deployment timing, customer concentration and conversion milestones, particularly after recent AI spending concerns pressured technology shares.
Capital Spending and Cash Flow Need Detail
Oracle reported $23 billion in operating cash flow but negative $5 billion in free cash flow for the quarter. It also sold $20 billion of common stock through an at-the-market program to support its investment plan.
Management’s fiscal 2027 targets call for at least $90 billion in revenue and non-GAAP earnings of $8.10 per share. The investor day can clarify the assumptions behind those goals and how Oracle’s approach compares with cloud rivals tracked in Alphabet’s earnings outlook.
