Equifax earnings showed broad revenue growth in the third quarter, even as management reduced its full-year revenue outlook because of a weaker mortgage market. The credit-data company reported the results on October 20, 2026, separating the reporting date from the quarter covered by the release.
Revenue growth reaches all three Equifax segments
Equifax reported revenue of $1.6925 billion, up 10% from a year earlier and 9% in local currency. Net income attributable to Equifax rose 32% to $211.7 million, and diluted EPS increased 39% to $1.79.
Adjusted EPS climbed 11% to $2.26. Adjusted EBITDA rose 11% to $560.2 million, while the adjusted EBITDA margin widened to 33.1% from 32.7%, a result that complements this guide to understanding operating margins.

Workforce Solutions produced $693.9 million of revenue, up 7%. U.S. Information Solutions generated $599.1 million, up 13%, and International revenue increased 9% to $399.5 million, or 7% in local currency.
Mortgage demand creates a mixed picture
U.S. mortgage revenue rose 15%, but the gains were uneven. USIS mortgage revenue increased 28%, while Workforce Solutions mortgage revenue was flat, leaving management cautious about the market’s contribution through year-end.
The company also highlighted artificial-intelligence-led productivity and retained a $150 million productivity objective. Investors assessing that initiative can compare it with the SEC’s recent focus on AI systems and data controls and Microsoft’s approach to agentic AI security.
Equifax trims revenue outlook but holds EPS midpoint
Equifax now expects 2026 revenue of $6.646 billion to $6.676 billion, with a midpoint of $6.661 billion. The company maintained adjusted EPS guidance of $8.45 to $8.55, leaving the midpoint at $8.50 despite the lower revenue assumption.
Equifax returned $158 million to shareholders during the quarter, including $92 million through the repurchase of 0.5 million shares and $66 million in dividends. The full results and reconciliation tables are available in the company’s official October 20 earnings release.
