Coca-Cola earnings arrive Tuesday, October 27, before the New York Stock Exchange opens. Investors will test whether volume growth and pricing can keep supporting revenue and margin gains.
Coca-Cola Earnings Arrive October 27
The company announced the third-quarter date on September 29. It will publish the results before U.S. trading starts and hold its investor call at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
That schedule gives the market time to assess both reported figures and management commentary during the same session. The event date is October 27, distinct from the September 29 announcement date.
Q2 Growth Sets a High Bar
Coca-Cola’s second-quarter net revenue rose 7% to $13.4 billion. Organic revenue increased 6%, helped by concentrate sales and a 2% contribution from price and mix.
Global unit case volume grew 5%, and operating income increased 9%. Reported earnings per share rose 16% to $1.03, while comparable EPS increased 11% to $0.97.
Reported operating margin improved to 34.9% from 34.1%. The company said currency helped results, while input costs and higher marketing investment partly offset comparable margin expansion.
What Investors Should Watch
Volume is the cleanest demand signal. Another increase would suggest consumers are still buying across Coca-Cola’s global portfolio despite uneven economic conditions.
Price and mix will show how much growth depends on higher pricing or premium packages. Investors will compare that contribution with unit volume and concentrate sales.
Margins and guidance complete the picture. Higher input costs, marketing spending and currency movements could change the path from the second quarter. Management’s full-year revenue, earnings and cash-flow outlook will therefore be central.
