UPS earnings arrive Tuesday, October 27, before the U.S. market opens. Package demand, revenue per piece and cost reductions will show whether the second-quarter recovery continued.
UPS Earnings Arrive October 27
UPS announced the third-quarter schedule on October 13. Chief Executive Carol Tomé and Chief Financial Officer Brian Dykes will lead the public investor call.
The results date is October 27, distinct from the October 13 announcement. The premarket timing makes UPS an early signal for transportation demand and business activity.
Q2 Revenue Growth Improved
UPS reported second-quarter consolidated revenue of $22.8 billion. Adjusted operating profit reached $2.1 billion, producing an adjusted operating margin of 9.2%.
U.S. Domestic revenue rose 6.0% to $14.93 billion. Revenue per piece increased 9.3%, while the adjusted domestic operating margin reached 8.0%.
International revenue increased 12.5% to $5.04 billion, helped by an 18.9% rise in revenue per piece. Supply Chain Solutions revenue grew 7.8% to $2.86 billion.
UPS raised its 2026 outlook to about $91.2 billion in revenue, $8.65 billion in adjusted operating profit and $7.22 in adjusted diluted earnings per share.
What UPS Earnings Investors Should Watch
Package volume is the first demand test. Price-led revenue growth can support margins, but sustained recovery also requires stable shipment activity.
The Amazon reduction is the second test. UPS said it completed the planned volume glide-down and related network changes. Investors will watch whether those changes improved asset use and labor efficiency.
Guidance is the third test. The second-quarter outlook assumed continued revenue growth and stronger adjusted profit. Any revision will influence expectations for holiday shipping demand.
