Coinbase Global has set the date for its next earnings report, giving investors a firm checkpoint for measuring whether the crypto exchange sustained its recent gains in trading share and diversified revenue.
Coinbase Sets the Q3 Earnings Schedule
Coinbase said on October 14 that it will publish third-quarter financial results and related materials on its investor-relations website on Thursday, October 29, after the market closes. The company will then hold a live Q&A on X at 2:00 p.m. PT, also streamed on YouTube, according to the official announcement.
The dates matter because Coinbase’s earnings can offer a broad read on U.S. crypto trading activity, stablecoin adoption and institutional demand. They also arrive as payment companies expand stablecoin services, including Mastercard’s bank-payout initiative, while issuers and banks build new settlement rails.
Q2 Results Set the Comparison
Coinbase reported that its crypto trading-volume market share reached a record 10.3% in Q2, marking a third consecutive quarterly gain. The company also recorded its 14th straight quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA and said 88% of net revenue came from sources other than bitcoin spot trading, according to its Q2 earnings release.
Average USDC held in Coinbase products reached $20 billion in the second quarter. That metric will be especially relevant after stablecoin activity broadened across banks and payment networks. Europe is also moving toward new regulated structures, including the Qivalis euro stablecoin project.
What Investors Should Watch
The first question is whether trading-share gains translated into durable transaction revenue without increasing dependence on short-term crypto volatility. Subscription and services revenue, USDC balances and institutional activity can help show whether the business mix continued to broaden.
Investors should also watch operating costs and management’s outlook. Coinbase’s expansion into derivatives and other products raises the importance of execution, while competition from tokenized markets and exchange-linked collateral products continues to grow. Binance’s use of tokenized equities as margin collateral illustrates how quickly product boundaries are shifting.
The October 29 release will cover the quarter ended September 30. Until Coinbase publishes those figures, Q2 remains the latest company-reported benchmark, so investors should avoid treating market estimates or crypto-price moves as a substitute for the filing.
