Bullish transferred 61 million tokenized reserved shares on Solana during a New York Stock Exchange demonstration and named Aptos and Ethereum as additional network partners. The company disclosed the expansion on November 3, one week after the October 27 transfer event.
Equiniti administered the transfer as the official record keeper, while the onchain transaction completed in seconds. Bullish said the multi-network model will support issuer-sponsored tokenized shares without replacing the transfer agent’s ownership register.
Bullish Tokenized Shares Move at NYSE Event
Bullish’s November 3 announcement says CEO Tom Farley and Equiniti CEO Dan Kramer demonstrated the transfer at the NYSE on October 27. The reserved shares were earmarked for Bullish’s planned Equiniti acquisition, with the final amount to be issued at closing.
The acquisition remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Bullish said the $4.2 billion transaction is expected to close in January 2027, but that timing remains forward-looking.
Solana, Aptos and Ethereum Support Issuers
Bullish already uses Solana for its tokenized equity cap table and plans to extend the same capabilities to Aptos and Ethereum. The company said supporting several networks lets issuers reach investors where they already transact while Equiniti maintains the official shareholder record.
The model differs from synthetic stock exposure because the issuer and transfer agent participate directly. Fusion Market News previously explained SEC venue guidance for tokenized stocks and how 24/7 tokenized-share trading rules work.
Corporate Actions Become Programmable
Bullish said tokenized shares could support near-instant settlement, continuous markets and programmable corporate actions. During the demonstration, Farley distributed a digital event pass directly to a shareholder wallet to show how issuers could engage registered holders onchain.
Other issuers are testing related structures, including the Cardano Foundation’s tokenized-share spinout. Bullish’s announcement expands that trend across three public networks, but it does not by itself establish exchange-wide adoption or remove applicable securities rules.
